About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Cost Manager for our P&DS team. This role will be working on Data Center Construction and retrofit projects in full collaboration and coordination with other teams and stakeholders.

What this job involves:

n Lead a team and undertake day to day delivery of all Commercial, Cost and Procurement tasks.

n Develop the client commercial and procurement brief to suit the specific requirements of the project.

n Undertake full cost evaluations of contracts to meet the client’s expectations and budget.

n Administer complex contracts, proactively managing and confirming the compliance of contractors/consultants to the contract terms and conditions.

n Lead and support the compilation of procurement and tendering documents, critically reviewing tender returns, contract negotiations, award of contracts and client reporting.

n Develop project cost and procurement documentation, programs, master budgets etc.

n Detailed weekly and monthly reporting on commercial position.

n Deliver projects within the framework of risk, sustainability and environmental considerations agreed at the business case/client brief stage, while maintaining focus on time, cost and quality.

n Monitor and report on the main and specialist sub-contractor’s commercial progress against the contract.

n Manage consultant team contracts to ensure that the contractor’s design is done in compliance with the commercial contract and on budget.

n Manage consultant teams to ensure that the built product is compliant with the contract requirements and on budget.

Sound like you? To apply you will have:

n Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin.

n Must be able to work in a fast-track environment with construction site experience preferred

n Extensive experience in managing on site construction in the region

n Major international project experience is preferred

n Minimum 7+ years’ experience in a related field

n Degree Qualification is preferred.

n Professional Memberships are an advantage (MRICS).

n Strong stakeholder management skills and works closely with stakeholders, engineering and project delivery teams to ensure projects are completed satisfactorily

n Excellent communication, presentation and reporting skills

n Logical approach and High Attention to detail
