Purpose of the position
Support Operation Manager to manage gas team, to increase capability and ensure TMM service level are achieved on site
Principal responsibilities
1.Monitor Gas team to adopt a strong disciplined approach to safety, proactive action, process adherence, training and quality methods
2.Lead Gas team to ensure efficient, productive and effective onsite activities to customer
3.Lead to receive/deliver Gas Cylinder at the appropriate point on the customer site. Check paperwork and visually inspect the containers/cylinders in accordance with agreed procedures.
4.Coordinate with system team for the inventory management in WMS.
5.Daily working area walk through inspections for the staff behaviour and facility status.
6.Manage the collection and return of gas cylinders to appropriate parties in accordance with customer instruction
7.Identify & record shipment discrepancies/excursion and report to line manager
8.Key Performance Areas
8.1 Ensure Gas team activates are operated strict safety guidelines as indicated by LLH or customer
8.2 Organize and manage staffs to ensure all activities act safely with high service quality in time
8.3Report out daily, weekly, monthly, performance on safety, operation and quality Key Metrics to required functional area
8.4 Support line manager to evaluate staff with full responsibility for performance, discipline and motivation
8.5 Mentor and coach operators in order to ensure full performance align with standards
8.6 Coordinate operational investigations and corrective action follow-up to ensure closure
8.7Acts as interface between management team and functional team and work with gas team operators in tracking are progress on key issues
8.8 Coordinate for the training to ensure all training were conducted to team according to plan
8.9 Participate in onsite emergency response

11.Administration
11.1Review Gas team for all required reports procedures, work instructions, risk assessments, and method statements are in place, updated and available to personnel
11.2Support to ensures all legislative documentation and any required licences and permits are updated adhered to by team
11.3Support line manager to perform annual personal appraisals, create employee development & training schedule and updated all master copy and individual training record
11.4 Support line manager on staff attendance record, report and OT control
12.Communications between customer
12.1Support to manage gas logistics, storage and delivery on site
12.2participate and lead the meeting when required.
13.General
13.1Responsible for supporting the Health, Safety of those under his control, attend staff meeting
13.2 Organize and lead group meeting for the team discipline, behaviour and housekeeping continuously improvement
13.3 Involved in plant emergency situations and investigations into incidents and plant gas supply problem
Required qualifications/experience
3+ years’ experience in Supply chain operations management, including supervision of line staff
Experience with customer relationships and negotiation skills
Good command in both spoken and written English
Flexible, detail-oriented and able to work under pressure
Bachelor degree
Knowledge of dangerous goods is preferred
