职位描述

1、Serve as active member of the Specialty Polymers Market Management Team (SMMT) including contributing to the development of business strategies.
2、Provide technical support to Specialty Polymers customers and develop long-term business relationships with key accounts.
3、Develop an understanding of market needs, determine the functional need for SBC’s and assist Marketing and Sales in analysis of the value proposition.
4、Determine fit of an existing SBC product in the portfolio or develop new high-value differentiated products.　Work closely with the R&D team to produce and test polymer samples in the lab, pilot plant, and plant.
5、Review patents and technical literature and work closely with Intellectual Property (IP) team and document inventions and drive patent applications through the organization for innovations such as new products or new applications.
6、Attend industry conferences, meeting with existing customers and potentially new customers to understand the competitive environment and identify technical needs/ growth opportunities in the marketplace.
7、Prepare technical papers and present them when appropriate.　
8、Develop lab capabilities, including selection of new equipment and development of test methods.
9、Coordinate work of technician/ technologist/ contractor assigned to support the TS&D team
10、Abide by all safety procedures and practices applicable to location and position.　Participate in appropriate safety training.　Demonstrate commitment to and support of EH&S principles and values.
11、Perform other duties assigned by management that fall within the generally expected scope of this position
