Archibat HR Asia is looking for an Architectural Project Manager for a Famous American Retail Architecture Design Firm to be based in their Shanghai Office.
Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary liaison between design team and client; Manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple projects;
• Responsible for directing, organizing and controlling project activities of the China projects;
• Provide leadership to client and design team by communicating project objectives, contract scope, terms, and schedule;
• Manage milestones, scheduling, budgets, staffing, and project set-up with clients, sub consultants, vendors and contractors;
• Overlooks the execution of the projects and ensure the delivering per the established standards;
• Track and manage financial performance of project for success;
• Supervise the tasks/duties carried out by the project coordinators;
• Provide support in business development and marketing activities to promote company works
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture; Master's degree a plus; Licensed Architect a plus;
• 8-10 years of experience with min. 5 years in project management role;
• Experience with retail and mixed-use projects; and solid experience in China project practices throughout the project lifecycle from concept to construction administration;
• Solid in the technical knowledge; Familiar with China local codes and standards and able to communicate technical issues with Jerde U.S. design team, China local design institute, vendors and Clients;
• Experience with contract negotiations, contract execution and project financial planning & control;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English;
• Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills;
• Willing to travel on project needs and able to work under pressure
