About the role:

This role will provide the following Consulting services to support Data center construction and retrofit projects in full collaboration and coordination with other teams and stakeholders.

What this job involves:

n Design and installation review and inspection for new and existing Data centers HVAC systems.

n Provide updates and trackers of HVAC projects and action items.

n Provide technical review and advice on design, construction and operation of engineering systems, provide suggestions on selection of Third Party vendors, and technical evaluation of Third Party vendors’ proposals.

n Suggest any improvements and modifications of engineering systems in terms of technology, cost, time and etc. in writing.

n Participate in the in-depth design and coordinate with Third Parties to review design package before bidding and construction.

n Responsible for Third Parties’ quality assurance/quality control and installation checks, and successful product delivery in accordance with the design standards, specifications and relevant good industry practice.

n Participate in commissioning and witness critical commissioning of engineering systems and provide any observations and suggestions for follow-up.

n Follow-up and arrange any defect rectifications and inspection on engineering systems for closure.

n Review the engineering systems as-built documentation for acceptance and successful handover.

n Review and update engineering documentation on regular and on need basis.

Reporting:

n Monthly reports showing Engineering ideas, progress of works, list of engineering design/construction issues etc., and action tracking and follow-up. Weekly follow-up on the comments on the design and installation provided with Third Parties.

n The presentation of improvements and modifications during the technical evaluation on the design, construction and operation of engineering systems.

Sound like you? To apply you will have:

n Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin.

n Must be able to work in a fast-track environment with construction site experience preferred

n Minimum 7+ years’ experience in a related field

n Strong understanding of HVAC design and operational aspects of mission critical facilities and infrastructure systems

n Strong stakeholder management skills and works closely with stakeholders, engineering and project delivery teams to ensure projects are completed satisfactorily

n Excellent communication, presentation and reporting skills

n Logical approach and High Attention to detail
